BeachHacks 2019 is the fourth collegiate hackathon hosted by California State University, Long Beach and CSULB ACM! On April 20-21, 2019, student developers and designers will build ideas into reality. Join us for 24 hours of hacking, networking, and fun!
Hacking begins at 3 PM on Saturday and ends at 3 PM on Sunday. All projects must be submitted on Devpost to qualify for prizes.

Eligibility
College students from all levels and majors are welcome to apply to BeachHacks! All attendees must be 18 years or older at the time of the event.
Requirements
Participants can choose to submit and demo their projects to compete for prizes. Submitting a project is not required, but highly encouraged! To qualify for prize categories, the maximum team size is four teammates.
All projects must be submitted to Devpost by 2 PM on Sunday, April 21. Coding may continue until 3 PM.

Each winning team member will receive a CORSAIR K83 Wireless Entertainment Keyboard, a $50 Amazon gift card courtesy of Northrop Grumman, and a one year subscription to Wolfram One and Wolfram Alpha Pro.
2nd Overall
Each winning team member will receive a CORSAIR HS50 Stereo Headset and a one year subscription to Wolfram One and Wolfram Alpha Pro.
3rd Overall
Each winning team member will receive a CORSAIR MM350 Extended XL Mouse Pad and a one year subscription to Wolfram One and Wolfram Alpha Pro.

Best IoT Hack using a Qualcomm Device
Presented by MLH. Use a Qualcomm device, like the Dragonboard 410C, in your IoT project. Each winning team member will receive their own DragonBoard 410C.
Best Use of Blockstack

Opportunities with Blockstack don't end with BeachHacks. Any app built with Blockstack during a hackathon that successfully registers for the App Mining program within two weeks of the event will receive an additional $500 reward.
